Boy's breeches made of fawn corduroy. Three quarter length gathered to band at bottom. Breeches have four buttons at front waist and one on each leg.
The term breeches was first used in the 1200s and referred to both underwear and outerwear worn by men and women. By the 1600s breeches largely refered to an outer garment worn by men.
