"Brooklyn and Māmā catch the bus heading for her new school, Te Kura o Manunui. However, soon noticing that they are going the wrong way, Brooklyn pushes the stop button and her and Māmā jump out to find themselves at the seaside of Mauao and not at school. Eager to get to school faster, Brooklyn has a grand idea to build a bridge.
Who will help her out?
Will it be Kiri the Kiwi, Mako the Mangōpare, Ani the Aihe, Toka and Toa the twin Tuatara or someone else?
Brooklyn builds a Bridge shows children that with imagination, they can find their inner awesomeness and share their great ideas, ask for help and never give up!
The book is set in Tauranga Moana, New Zealand."
