Grenade Shell HC100


A WWII British issue hand grenade shell missing pin and fuse. Basic pineapple with two segments on the top to support the fuse and pin mechanism with a groove at the rear of the shell.

Grenades were first thrown in the 15th Century, however, by the 1800s they were no longer in use. In the 20th Century they returned and were used in the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905) and WWI, WWII.
