Te Hokowhitu a Tū Māori Pioneers commemorated the exploits of the Māori Battalion during the First World War. The battalion was raised in 1915 and served at Gallipoli and the Western Front. This exhibition was part of the 2016 Tauranga Moana Matariki Festival.
