Fleoron Official Signaller is battery operated (batteries are included) and has the International Morse Code printed on the casing. The Fleron Signaller was the official Boy Scout signaller, widely used to teach Morse Code and also sold as a toy. This example is believed to have been made in the 1940s.
Morse code uses sequence of short and long elements to represent letters and numerals. Originally created in the 1840s for the electric telegraph.
